The International Olympiad of Mathematics 2017 (iOM) invites applications for a test of competence and knowledge in the subject of Mathematics. The test will be conducted annually at the national and international level based on the syllabus prescribed by CBSE, ICSE and the State Boards. iOM recommends the competition for each and every student who is studying Mathematics as their subject in the school and can win a cash prize up to Rs 100000, gift, certificate, etc.
The mode of exam is English only and objective type which is being conducted for class 1 to 12. For class 1-2 there will be 40 questions and the duration will be of 60 Minutes. For class 3-12 there will be 50 questions and the duration will be of 60 Minutes. There is no negative marking.
The first level Olympiad will be conducted on 09th November 2017 and 5th December 2017, you can choose any one of these two dates. The exam center will be the school itself and the result of the first level will publish in the month of January 2018 and the second level will be conducted on January/February 2018 result of the second level will publish in the month of February 2018. Level three will be conducted on July/August 2018 at New Delhi.
The application can be done through their respective schools only. The participation fee is Rs 120 per student, out of which Rs 20 shall be retained by the school as its expenses towards honorarium of the invigilator and other expenses like postal expenses, DD charges and photocopying, etc.
